Maintenance Technician-- $1000 Hiring bonus

About the role

Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining hotel’s facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment in safe, clean, and proper working condition. This position performs routine preventive maintenance, responds to maintenance requests, troubleshoots equipment issues, and completes repairs to ensure guest satisfaction, employee safety, and smooth hotel operations.

Pay

• Hiring bonus: $1,000 total — $500 upon hire and $500 after 90 days of employment. Each payment subject to being actively employed and in good standing; full eligibility and payment terms provided in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, meeting rooms, and other hotel facilities.
• Respond in a courteous and timely manner to all guest requests and complaints relative to room maintenance.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, doors, locks, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
• Repair or replace damaged items, including faucets, toilets, showerheads, light bulbs, outlets, and door hardware, within the limits of training and authorization.
• Inspect and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; change out filters and report major issues to Chief Engineer.
• Maintain hotel equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies in good working condition.
• Perform basic painting, drywall patching, caulking, and other general building repairs.
• Assist with swimming pool, laundry, kitchen, and other facility maintenance as assigned, following applicable
