What You Will Do
- Design and develop training content in various formats, including presentations, videos, and hands-on demonstrations, based on customer or internal requirements
- Deliver technical training to CHI maintenance staff and external customers in classroom, hangar, and operational aircraft environments
- Serve as Lead Instructor for CHI aircraft platform courses (e.g., Maintenance, Familiarization)
- Facilitate new hire training for field and shop maintenance technicians
- Plan, organize, and execute training programs in accordance with CHI standards and regulatory requirements
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for aircraft systems and maintenance practices
- Conduct practical exercises and evaluate mechanic proficiency and progress
- Assist in developing training materials and contribute to the continuous improvement of training content
- Represent Columbia Helicopters during regulatory or customer audits related to training programs
What We Need From You
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification preferred
- Previous vocational, military, or formal teaching experience desired
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems; rotorcraft experience highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to instruct and mentor technicians
- Understanding of domestic and international aviation regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret technical data from manuals, regulations, and digital sources
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in developing training content
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including to remote or austere locations
