MAINTENANCE TECH, SR (HVAC/JOURNEYMAN)
About the role
Maintenance Technician, SR (HVAC/JOURNEYMAN) - Full Time Position at Wyoming Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units, VAVs, pumps, and associated controls.
- Conduct daily inspections of mechanical equipment, identify operational deficiencies, and complete corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to maintain proper temperature, humidity, pressure relationships, and energy performance.
- Lead and coordinate HVAC preventive maintenance programs, and contractor activities while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, work orders, equipment performance, and regulatory requirements, while providing technical guidance and training to junior technicians.
Requirements
- Substantial prior professional experience in a similar senior maintenance role, with Journeyman HVAC License.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
- Holds a specialization in one trade as evident by possession of an appropriate Journeyman's license issued by the State.
- Must have one of the following: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, Journeyman Plumber License, Carpentry, Welding, Steam and Pipefitting, Masonry or Electronic Instrumentation.
- Valid driver's license.
Pay
$30.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full Time; Monday thru Friday 6AM-3PM.
