About the Role
Inspects, installs, repairs, and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain heating, water, gas, drainage, and fire sprinkler systems. Additional duties as required to ensure the safe operation of the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to Corporate Compliance Guidelines
- Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with Hospital Safety and Infection Control policies as required by OSHA and the Patient Safety Program
- Adheres to all Jefferson Policies and Procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Licensed Plumber (LP) – State of Pennsylvania
Physical Demands
- Lift over 50 lbs
- Push/pull up to 140 lbs
- Carry 80 lbs short distances
- Frequent standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead
