Maintenance Tech (Part-Time) - Navion of Goldsboro

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preserving the good condition and functionality of an Assisted Living community. Tasks include painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, and other maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, and general repairs.
• Maintain buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
• Work autonomously while observing all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Two years of related maintenance experience and formal training in carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, refurbishing, and cleaning.
• Valid state driver's license and/or CDL license based on property requirements and state laws.
• Safe driving and operation of a van or larger vehicle.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Willingness to learn new methods and incorporate them into maintenance practices.
• Ability to effectively follow written and oral instructions.
