Maintenance Tech II - 2nd Shift

Join our team in Cambridge, OH as a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, Monday through Friday).

About the role

Ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. Collaborate with a tenured team of leaders and peers for support, training, and growth opportunities in a supportive and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of all equipment.
• Assist in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.
• Perform thorough work and follow through on repairs using feedback from internal customers.
• Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
• Properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).
• Coordinate equipment updates and operational issues with off-shift maintenance personnel and other team members.
• Apply knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers, and other automation tools to improve plant automation efforts.
• Attend outside training and seminars for continual education.
• Complete a hands-on skills test.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced mechanical skills, including rebuilding equipment components.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Basic understanding of facility equipment in support of facility engineering.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting on 480V and below.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting (no programming required).
• Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to pass a hands-on skills test.
