Maintenance Tech II - 2nd Shift

What You Will Be Doing

• Observes and incorporates all safety standards and regulations required for safe operation and repair of equipment
• Performs scheduled, predictive, and preventative maintenance as instructed
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical systems, including motors, motor controls, VFDs, lighting circuits, transformers, control panels, and industrial wiring
• Supports facility infrastructure projects, including electrical installations, conduit routing, lighting upgrades, compressed air systems, and data/network cabling as required
• Communicates and works well within a team environment
• Communicates with machine operators to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems
• Maintains records and makes reports of breakdowns in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards within the maintenance department

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent Trade school and/or military training
• Computer proficiency; strongly desired
• 2-5 years’ hands-on experience with electrical (110v-480v AC, 24vDC, Control systems, Motor controls, etc.) and mechanical systems in a manufacturing/Industrial setting
• Associate degrees in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
