Maintenance Tech I - Engineer

About the role

Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing, hazardous chemicals, and general and preventive maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all maintenance and repair of the facility.
• Repair of plumbing and associated equipment, including toilet replacement, snaking stopped drains, and repairing leaks in piping, faucets, and drains.
• Assisting all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and carpenters.
• Cleaning of shops, trash removal, sweeping, and picking up materials from job sites.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and cohesively while consistently producing quality results.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

• Working rapidly with attention to detail and observing situations.
• Must be able to remember orders from supervisors.
• Must be able to read and write for daily paperwork.
• Making daily decisions.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
