Maintenance Tech I

Responsibilities

• Performs minor construction, landscaping and equipment installations.
• Operates power operated equipment in the performance of job functions.
• Records and updates documentation of repairs.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Licenses and/or Certifications: None required.
• Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Technical training and work experience in a trade. Previous experience in general maintenance work. Must meet the insurability policy requirements to drive a CHKD vehicle. Must be able to pass the CHKD driving test within 30 days of employment.
• Working Conditions: Work is performed inside and outside of the hospital in all weather conditions.
