Maintenance Tech I

About the role

The Maintenance Tech I position at Vinson Hall Retirement Community requires a minimum of two years' experience in the building and construction fields, with preferred experience in HVAC, electrical, painting, and plumbing. A plumbing and electrical license is required for tasks involving these areas, and painting experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and grounds as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Handle emergency situations as they arise.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
