Daily Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment, building, utilities and grounds following community approved methods.
- Assist in maintaining the emergency power generating equipment along with all fire and life safety equipment and help conduct fire drill and safety inspections.
- Provide residents and staff with a timely and effective response to service requests.
- Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations/ordinances.
- Work with the department Director to ensure that community physical plant and grounds are maintained in a good state of repair and that the community projects a good visual image to the community at large.
- Maintain maintenance schedules and update progress of open service requests.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma.
- Previous experience in senior living or healthcare setting is highly desired.
- Previous HVAC experience or is helpful; HVAC Certification Preferred.
- Ability to work 8a to 4:30p with rotating weekends. Possible work schedule will include some holidays.
