Purpose/Primary Function

Work in a team environment to support production equipment repairs and upgrades and perform general and preventive maintenance. Design, develop, and implement new products/process equipment, all to ensure a productive and safe work environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Promote and practice all aspects of job safety.
  • Maintain and repair all mechanical and electrical systems on-site.
  • Learn to troubleshoot programmable logic controls and understand ladder logic.
  • Support engineering in the improvement of and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.
  • Participate in housekeeping activities to keep up plant appearance and ensure it operates acceptably and safely.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Able to lead small team projects creating a cooperative and effective work environment.

Education/Experiences Required

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Professional Attitude: Always demonstrates Trex Cultural Values and Beliefs
  • High Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to wear required PPE and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to attend offsite training classes periodically (1-2 weeks per year, with proper notice)
  • Welding experience (Arc, Mig, and Tig)
  • Experienced in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • 10+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
