Purpose/Primary Function
Work in a team environment to support production equipment repairs and upgrades and perform general and preventive maintenance. Design, develop, and implement new products/process equipment, all to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Promote and practice all aspects of job safety.
- Maintain and repair all mechanical and electrical systems on-site.
- Learn to troubleshoot programmable logic controls and understand ladder logic.
- Support engineering in the improvement of and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.
- Participate in housekeeping activities to keep up plant appearance and ensure it operates acceptably and safely.
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Able to lead small team projects creating a cooperative and effective work environment.

Education/Experiences Required
- HS Diploma or GED
- Professional Attitude: Always demonstrates Trex Cultural Values and Beliefs
- High Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to wear required PPE and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to attend offsite training classes periodically (1-2 weeks per year, with proper notice)
- Welding experience (Arc, Mig, and Tig)
- Experienced in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- 10+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
