Maintenance Tech - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled lead maintenance technician to join our team in Phoenix. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, and a desire to advance into a higher-level position within a manufacturing plant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct simple preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and routine part replacements.
  • Fabricate and repair simple metal projects.
  • Assist technicians in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC-controlled CNCs, welders, and saws.
  • Maintain data entry for required written and electronic equipment logs.
  • Use personal protective equipment properly.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Proteive Equipment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
  • Certification from a college or technical school preferred; demonstrable experience may substitute for credentials.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics.
  • Sense of urgency, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in and promote a team environment.

Pay

$30–34 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential. Hourly rate is based on experience and mechanical/electrical testing.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
