About the role

This role involves conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on various pieces of equipment, repairing and maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components, and supporting cell moves and building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment such as induction vacuum furnaces, electric furnaces, and natural gas kilns.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
  • Support cell moves, in-house rigging efforts, and building projects.
  • Order and track material required for repairs.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and manlifts.
  • Comply with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and other safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years prior experience in various maintenance disciplines.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical work in compliance with NEC.
  • Maintenance and/or Electrical Certifications.
  • HMI and PLC experience.
  • Proficient navigating PC and mobile phones.
  • Prior team and leadership experience.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical control schematics.
  • Install or repair electrical service.
  • Repair mechanical equipment, especially vacuum systems and automated equipment, etc.

Additional Information

Maintenance performance is tracked on a daily basis and aggregated in monthly reporting to leadership. Employees may also be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing. Relocation assistance provided: No.
