Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking a skilled lead maintenance technician to join our team in Clovis, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in a manufacturing plant. This position offers opportunities for advancement into a higher-level role.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and routine part replacements.
• Fabricate and repair simple metal projects.
• Assist technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC-controlled CNCs, welders, and saws.
• Maintain data entry for required written and electronic equipment logs.
• Use personal protective equipment properly.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Proteive Equipment.

Requirements

• 2 years or more of related work experience.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred; demonstrable experience may be accepted in place of credentials.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently.
• Computer literacy with the ability to learn new software programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in and promote a team environment.

Pay

Starting hourly rate of $26 or more, based on experience and mechanical/electrical testing.

Schedule

6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
