Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and reactive maintenance duties for manufacturing operations.
• Executes Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and repairs equipment to maintain maximum production rates.
• Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory.
• Contact, specify, and order replacement parts and control components from suppliers as needed.
• Contribute to Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) performance by completing PM and Repair Work Orders in a timely manner, ensuring compliance.
• Act as a first responder to troubleshoot machine problems and coordinate with Electrical Engineering for additional support.
• Work with production staff to ensure safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
• Develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and safety.
• Support daily management directives and initiatives.

Job Skills

• General experience using electrical test equipment: Voltmeter, Ammeter, ohmmeter, Megger, etc.
• Understanding of basic machine functions and sequence of operations.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, and NFPA 79 codes.
• Lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Understanding of electrical formulas and mechanical math.
• Experience with 3-phase industrial wiring and power distribution AC & DC drives/motors PMs, wiring, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting PLC I/O and networking.
• Training in servo drives and motors.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other plant personnel and company resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Stand and be mobile for at least 8 continuous hours.
• Work in temperature extremes.
• Handle materials daily.
• Full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
