Maintenance Team Leader 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses
• Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Assesses and prioritizes work requests and ensures material required for the work is available
• Follows up on work orders to ensure job specifications (quality and quantity) and time lines are met
• Coincide with Manufacturing Supervisor’s throughout the shift to understand prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shift
• Understand strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls
• Monitor team members progress throughout the shift
• Ensure all employees are working together in an effective and cooperative manner to complete job requirements as quickly and completely as possible per work instructions and standard work
• Main contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and/or General Manager
• Perform pass down meeting with next shift and daily report to Maintenance Manager
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Ensure the application of all Flex-N-Gate’s safety policies and procedures
• Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the workday
• Assist with completing reports for all safety issues, work place injuries and environmental incidents immediately upon notification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating shifts.
