Maintenance Team Lead – 2nd Shift

About the role

The 2nd Shift Maintenance Team Lead at John F. Martin & Sons, LLC supports smooth production operations by performing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and leading second shift maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery to support smooth production operations.
• Lead second shift maintenance work by coordinating tasks, managing priorities, and guiding the second shift maintenance technician.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly and effectively.
• Communicate equipment status with operators, production leaders, and the maintenance team to support smooth shift transitions.
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule while maintaining a dependable, positive, and self-motivated approach.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety expectations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Food processing experience is preferred.

Skills

• Use mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Welding or PLC knowledge is a plus.
