About You And The Role

As a Maintenance Support Technician, you will support field maintenance and aircraft generation by moving aircraft and equipment between customer sites and the service center, installing assets at operating sites, and operating specialized equipment. You will own assigned transport preparation, asset custody, and site-support execution from inspection through accepted handoff. What You'll Do

  • Inspect vehicles, tools, parts, and support equipment before transport; document discrepancies and escalate safety or equipment issues.
  • Prepare, load, secure, transport, and unload assigned aircraft and support equipment using approved vehicles and installed equipment.
  • Maintain custody of inbound and outbound assets between customer sites and the service center through loading, transport, and installation.
  • Verify inventory, complete required records, and communicate site-visit completion through approved recordkeeping systems.
  • Escalate issues when findings make an aircraft, vehicle, or transport setup unsafe or noncompliant.
  • Complete handoffs with verified inventory, complete documentation, and accepted custody transfer.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when handling aircraft, equipment, tools, inventory, and custody records.
  • Ability to follow approved safety, transport, equipment-operation, and recordkeeping procedures consistently.
  • Experience in aircraft flightline operations, automotive work, logistics, mechanical equipment operation, vehicle towing, or ground-handling equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and willingness to work 45+ hours per week.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel 5–10% as needed for customer-site support.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and maintain training currency in recovery procedures, equipment operation, and required safety certifications.
