Responsibilities

• Keep production running — perform urgent on-the-spot repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on time — every time.
• Own equipment safety — verify safety switches are functioning and ensure pinch points and hazards are clearly marked.
• Handle facility upkeep — tackle building repairs (doorknobs, door closures, and more) quickly and efficiently.
• Retool and set up equipment as needed to support production demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized parts room so the right part is always easy to find.
• Process internal repair orders for full accountability and transparent tracking.
• Drive downtime reduction — your goal is to minimize disruptions and maximize output.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing service environment.
• Self-starter mentality — you don't wait to be told, you spot a problem and fix it.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
• Strong communication skills
