MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TECH- Little Rock Service Center

Principal Duties/Responsibilities (essential Functions)

• Ensure professional demeanor and appearance in customer, guest, and coworker interactions.
• Document all On-the-Job Training (OJT) to build an experience portfolio.
• Perform tasks efficiently and to quality standards as per the work scope.
• Utilize applicable technical data for maintenance, inspection, servicing, lubrication, repair, and modifications.
• Acquire a working knowledge of Quality Control systems and procedures, including the Quality Control Manual.
• Understand and comply with Federal Aviation Regulations, particularly parts 43, 91, and 145; and 135 as required.
• Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms according to the methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCMM.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices using the 5S system.
• Strive for zero defects in workmanship and safety by focusing on Human Factors in the workplace.
• Adhere to company rules, regulations, and safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Non-principal Duties/Responsibilities (non-essential Functions)

• May perform other duties as required to meet departmental goals.
• Operate at maximum efficiency by effectively utilizing available resources.
• Collaborate and cooperate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives.
• Provide services and deliverables to customers that meet and exceed their satisfaction expectations.
• Support the corporate mission and vision by achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical training course with certificate.
• Physical dexterity and general mechanical knowledge required for a technician.
• Proficient in the use of pneumatic tools and basic hand tools.
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• No allergies to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Prior experience in drilling and fastening of sheet metal parts.
• Prior welding, fabrication, or cabinetry experience preferred.

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Previous aviation experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Hangar and ramp environments with varying temperature ranges.
• Normal to Reno, Nevada.
• Must be able to work and bend in a confined work space.
• Repetitively enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work with high noise levels including jet engines.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and/or overtime based on business needs.
• Ability to work at heights up to 50' above ground.
