Maintenance Supervisor -Weekend 1st shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Directly supervises maintenance and technicians.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Trains employees;
• Plans, assigns, and directs work;
• Applies performance appraisals;
• Provides counseling or disciplinary action in adherence with Company policies.
• Maintains equipment, oversees repair tasks and preventive maintenance program;
• Works in conjunction with production, trucking, and other departments to coordinate projects and handle issues.

Education and/or Experience

• High school education or GED.
• Some post high school education is strongly desired.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Effective professional communication skills to both hourly and managerial personnel.
