Maintenance Supervisor (Service Manager)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and respond to a broad range of maintenance needs
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Appliance Repair
• Locks & Keys
• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and Drywall Repair
• Janitorial
• Grounds and Snow Removal

Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-starter and ability to take initiative
• Excellent customer service skills
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance field
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays
• Skilled in routine apartment maintenance and handling administrative tasks and paperwork related to vendors/contractors
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years’ related job and supervisory experience with basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and overseeing capital improvement projects
