Job Details
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Maintenance Supervisor for a leading role in our dynamic manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, including PLC systems, lathe, mill, pneumatic systems, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Leading a team of maintenance technicians, providing them with guidance, training, and support to ensure they are able to perform their duties effectively.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electronic and robotic systems, and coordinating with external service providers as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards, and fostering a culture of safety and quality within the maintenance team.
- Making recommendations for improvements or upgrades to equipment performance.
- Participating in cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of PLC systems, lathe, mill, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Proven experience with machine maintenance tech, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electronic and robotic systems.
- Strong supervisory skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Solid knowledge of quality control principles and safety compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- A relevant technical qualification would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
