Maintenance Supervisor- Ingot

Responsibilities

• Supervising craft within the department, acting as a resource for maintenance guidance to craft and other manufacturing personnel
• Providing technical maintenance support for assigned area
• Executing planned and unplanned work to meet department goals
• Cooking repairs with customers to ensure minimal equipment downtime
• Following-up on equipment issues, and developing technical problem-solving solutions
• Providing on-call response to remedy critical maintenance situations
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods, working hand in hand with craft employees
• Adhering to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies
• Assuming other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, Verifiable Supervisory experience, Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Strong maintenance background with 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates or BS degree in a technical field, Previous work experience in a similar role, 5+ years heavy industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, Knowledge of PLCs and hydraulic systems

Tennessee Operations is located 3 hours North of Atlanta, GA; 2.5 hours East of Nashville, TN; and 4 hours West of Charlotte, NC. Arconic’s Tennessee Operations is one of the most modern aluminum fabricating facilities in the world. Our plants produce high-quality molten metal and aluminum sheet and are recognized as a world leader in the business. The facility has been located at the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains for 100 years and continues to thrive and grow.
