Job Purpose
Responsible for overall effectiveness for the packaging lines at the Cincinnati lubrication oil packaging facility. This role is expected to organize, supervise, and direct maintenance workers in their daily tasks of conducting corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance tasks.
How You Make An Impact
- Write, issue, and track work requests in the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS), Maintenance Connection.
- Issue purchase orders and perform goods receipts in SAP.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program for the facility while aligning with Valvoline’s organizational direction.
- Manage all maintenance workflow by writing, issuing, and tracking work requests and developing preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and procedures in the CMMS Maintenance Connection.
- Manage a team of maintenance employees. Oversee work from contractors.
- Facilitates safety programs to ensure the safety of employees working in plant. Drives employee engagement in safety.
- Communicates and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures including OSHA, EPA, environmental rules, regulations, ISO work instructions and company policies and maintain appropriate records.
- Support Plant Operations in small project, process and safety improvements. Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity.
- Develop training strategies that build maintenance and technician capabilities.
- Drive management of spare parts inventory, critical spare parts and equipment sparing.
- Issue purchase orders and perform goods receipts in SAP.
- Prioritize work for team members.
- Build communication skills between maintenance, production, blending, and management to assist in a group effort to solve operational issues.
What You Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field.
- 5+ years of operations maintenance experience preferred with experience in packaging equipment.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
- Mechanical/electrical experience maintaining equipment. Understanding of PLC programming preferred.
- Microsoft Office, SAP, and Maintenance Connection is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
