About the Role
Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance functions for company assets. Manage processes in Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Breakdown Maintenance. Troubleshoot complex issues and oversee Service Center staffing.
Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location and/or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds). No travel required.
Responsibilities
- Teach and train individual Maintenance coordinators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, including system management.
- Actively monitor open work orders.
- Develop and implement scheduling strategy and service center staffing.
- Respond to calls with Maintenance requests.
- Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff.
- Ensure associates have the tools and training necessary to perform their jobs.
- Ensure work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.
- Lead a group or team of support, craft, or lower-level professional associates.
Requirements
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
- Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- May require certification.
- Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
