About the role
The Neighborhood Service Manager is responsible for all physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property. Key responsibilities include leadership, neighborhood management, and upholding standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish positive, productive relationships with the Neighborhood staff.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff members.
- Resolve problems and ensure the best interest of the Neighborhood.
- Manage the budget through cost-effective maintenance functions.
- Lead on-going safety training, manage capital projects, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain inventory and be a knowledge holder of company policies.
- Ensure compliance with rules and regulations for safe and effective operation.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Completion of maintenance related courses from related institutions, such as BOMA, IREM, and/or vocational programs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Qualifications
- Effective presentation and response to questions from various groups.
- On-call availability for help when needed.
- Physical abilities to stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, listen, hear, and have visual acuity.

Pay
The provided salary range is $40.25 to $44.00 per hour. Discretionary semi-annual bonus plan, standby pay, and on-call premium pay are also available. Other bonuses and incentives may apply.
