What To Expect The Semi Coatings team is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small group of equipment maintenance technicians responsible for maximizing equipment availability and performance. This hands-on role oversees preventative maintenance and repairs on electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment, develops and maintains maintenance/calibration schedules, supports 5S, Lean, safety, and continuous improvement activities, and collaborates cross-functionally as an innovator and change agent to elevate the Maintenance team. What You'll Do Manage, mentor and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians focused on equipment reliability and performance Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime & efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and robotic equipment issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement & operational excellence Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, procedures and maintenance schedules Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate equipment repairs, upgrades and refurbishments Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams’ safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations What You'll Bring Degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience 3 plus years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Strong multi-craft skillset in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems & automation Experience troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens or Allen Bradley) & robotic systems Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities & optimizing equipment reliability Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities & drive results Strong verbal & written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Benefits Compensation and Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program , Tesla
