Maintenance Supervisor - Co/Relate West Adams (Student Living)
About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team, ensuring that all work orders are handled efficiently and that the community's facilities are maintained to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Manages work orders generated from resident requests for service, diagnosing issues and making repairs.
- Oversees the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the community, ensuring compliance with Greystar standards.
- Inspects work performed by other team members and contractors to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Orders supplies and tools to maintain an adequate inventory and stay within budgetary guidelines.
- Completes monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Supports cost-cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using resources efficiently.
- Conducts safety meetings and ensures compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Treats residents and team members with respect, addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in maintenance or property management is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
