Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor position is available in Niagara Falls, NY. This role oversees a team of hourly personnel and ensures all millwrights and electricians are meeting established tasks and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct millwrights and electricians to respond to breakdown work within the facility in a timely manner.
• Suggest repairs or rebuilds of equipment based on best judgment and knowledge.
• Support plant safety guidance and objectives, ensuring a clean and orderly shop.
• Inspect all work performed to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Create and suggest process/equipment improvements in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and Production Superintendent.
• Train skilled trades on proper inspection of equipment.
• Ensure tradesmen provide proper documentation regarding inspections and repairs.
• Schedule and track monthly safety training and toolbox talks.
• Perform safety inspections as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience of skilled tradesman in an industrial environment.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel and Word.
• Mechanically and electrically proficient; able to diagnose and evaluate equipment and processes.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
