About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor position is available in Niagara Falls, NY. This role oversees a team of hourly personnel and ensures all millwrights and electricians are meeting established tasks and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Direct millwrights and electricians to respond to breakdown work within the facility in a timely manner.
- Suggest repairs or rebuilds of equipment based on best judgment and knowledge.
- Support plant safety guidance and objectives, ensuring a clean and orderly shop.
- Inspect all work performed to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Create and suggest process/equipment improvements in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and Production Superintendent.
- Train skilled trades on proper inspection of equipment.
- Ensure tradesmen provide proper documentation regarding inspections and repairs.
- Schedule and track monthly safety training and toolbox talks.
- Perform safety inspections as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of supervisory experience of skilled tradesman in an industrial environment.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel and Word.
- Mechanically and electrically proficient; able to diagnose and evaluate equipment and processes.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
