Maintenance Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assign preventative maintenance duties and assign equipment repair requests to Maintenance Mechanics.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules for company owned trailers.
• Respond to requests by BDS Foremen for emergency repairs to equipment (flat tires, electrical problems, forklift repair issues, etc.).
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Plan, supervise, and complete special projects as requested by Plant Manager or Maintenance Superintendent.
• Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical wire, and heating/air conditioning units.
• Contact vendors or sales representatives for emergency replacement of critical machinery parts.

Job Specifications Or Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED, plus Vocation or Technical Education is preferred. Experience: 5 years of Maintenance experience or related experience is required. Supervisory Experience: 2 to 5 years of similar supervisory experience is preferred.
