About The Role

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety compliance of our client's equipment and facilities. This position is essential in supporting production by maintaining machinery and contributing to the overall success of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Set schedules and objectives for preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Support production by maintaining all equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Cook up with other departments for scheduling maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data for improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and expenses.
  • Document and track all maintenance projects.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A Four-year college or university degree; 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
  • Two years of experience with Maintenance system software.
  • Ability to set preventative and predictive maintenance objectives for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics in a roll-forming or metal-stamping manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Understanding of mechanical, air, hydraulic, and other systems with working knowledge of tools and devices.
  • Knowledgeable and hands-on experience with basic electricity ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC (3 phase).
  • Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical procedures.
  • Knowledge of PLCs.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA standards in metal stamping and mechanical power presses.
  • Proficient with Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic operations.
