About the role
Sedgework Senior Living is seeking a Hospitality-Focused Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support the maintenance operations at Sedgebrook Senior Living. The role involves overseeing maintenance technicians, managing work orders, and troubleshooting various systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support assigned maintenance technicians, ensuring productivity, quality, and timely completion of assigned work.
- Maintain operational continuity by providing hands-on assistance to maintenance staff as needed.
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, including fixtures, piping, valves, outlets, and controls.
- Perform and oversee maintenance and repair work in residential units, common areas, and clinical spaces.
- Respond to system or equipment failures and address after-hours maintenance issues, as required.
- Oversee the work order system to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation of all assigned tasks.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and work scheduled or on-call overtime, as necessary.
Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Experience in HVAC and other applicable trade certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in healthcare, senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, or a comparable environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities or an equivalent field.

Pay
The rate of pay is $28 - 30 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM.
