Role Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance staff, manages physical assets, and ensures quality repairs, safety, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, and construction projects at a multifamily community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance team
- Monitor inventory and budget
- Cook up repairs and safety issues
- Oversee rehabilitation projects
- Maintain high customer service standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires at least 2 years in maintenance or 3 years in related fields, supervisory experience
- Janitorial and pool maintenance skills
- Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
- Strong time management
- Safety awareness
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license
Additional Requirements
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment
- Handle chemicals safely
- Respond to after-hours emergencies
- Knowledge of landlord and fair housing laws
