Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Roquette is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance execution at our Newark manufacturing site. Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Leader, you'll oversee maintenance technicians and contractors while ensuring work is planned, executed safely, and aligned with production and reliability goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics.
• Drive safe, efficient execution of daily maintenance activities.
• Cook up maintenance schedules, resources, contractors, and emergency repairs.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Utilize SAP/CMMS tools to manage work orders, maintenance planning, and documentation.
• Pearl partnerships with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and EHS teams to minimize downtime and improve plant performance.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED required; technical or mechanical training preferred.
• Experience leading or coordinating maintenance activities in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, communication, and leadership skills.
• Manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or other regulated industries is a plus.
