About the role

Responsibilities

  • Embrace Bluecore's culture of empowerment and transparency by engaging in healthy debate with leadership and sharing what is not working well on a weekly basis.
  • Demonstrate urgency, professionalism, and thoroughness with every service request and make-ready, completing work orders within 24 hours and achieving a 7-day unit turnover.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, keeping expenses within guidelines and finding cost-saving measures that maintain quality.
  • Accurately complete records in Yardi and use Sparkle for inspections, ensuring the community's appearance and resident satisfaction.
  • Inspect and repair all areas of the community, adhering to health and safety procedures and implementing preventative maintenance.
  • Professionally communicate with vendors and make budget-conscious decisions, working as a team with office staff to ensure resident satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
  • Experience at a Class A apartment community
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification
  • CPO certification (must obtain within 3 months of employment)
  • Reliable transportation for all job duties

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
