Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary
Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance functions for company assets. Manage processes in Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Breakdown Maintenance. Troubleshoot complex issues. Manage Service Center staffing.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Teach and Train individual Maintenance coordinators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues (manages system issues).
- Actively monitor open work orders.
- Responsible for scheduling strategy and service center staffing.
- Selects, develops and motivates assigned staff.
- Ensures associates have the tools and training necessary to do the job.
Nature and Scope
Experience provides solutions. Ensures that work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures. Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.
Work Environment
Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location and/or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds). No travel required.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
