Maintenance Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform comprehensive maintenance on PCBA and SMT production equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, wave soldering systems, and AOI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Develop, implement, and optimize preventive maintenance programs through data-driven scheduling and condition monitoring techniques.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical training, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, maintain detailed documentation, and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and automation issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Manage maintenance budgets, optimize spare parts inventory through strategic procurement, and build strong relationships with vendors.
• Implement and oversee lean manufacturing and TPM strategies to improve equipment effectiveness and reduce waste.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate with production planning to schedule maintenance activities during non-peak hours to minimize impact on operations.
• Establish and maintain calibration schedules for all precision equipment and measuring instruments.
• Design and implement energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in PCBA/SMT manufacturing environment required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
