Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role

As a Mechanics Supervisor, you will work closely with mechanic teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and make appropriate repairs. You will supervise and assist mechanics crews in maintaining all related plant equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and reliability standards. This position is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics crews in maintaining all related plant equipment and facilities.
• Monitor maintenance activity and make necessary adjustments to meet expectations and commitments to internal and external customers.
• Maintain safe working conditions and promote personnel safety.
• Ensure compliance with Dyno Nobel HSEQ Performance Standards and applicable acts and regulations.
• Supervise mechanic groups in their daily work and maintain safety and reliability standards.
• Coordinate maintenance work with maintenance engineers, planners, and operations personnel.
• Recommend repairs or modifications to equipment.
• Assist in soliciting bids for materials and service work on equipment.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment reliability.
• Assist in the development and training of maintenance personnel.
• Evaluate technician performance and provide coaching for continuous improvements.
• Repair and maintain plant piping, vessels, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work.
• Manage equipment maintenance history and work orders in SAP to ensure timely task completion.

Qualifications

• Technical College or equivalent training in the equipment maintenance field or relevant plant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Understanding and ability to perform lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to solve basic mathematical problems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on call as required.
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
