Maintenance Supervisor

Lead with skill and serve with purpose as a Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty, where you’ll oversee operations to keep affordable housing communities safe, comfortable, and thriving. This role combines hands-on leadership with technical expertise to ensure quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week with on-call rotation.
• Work schedules may include Saturdays based on property performance needs (e.g., occupancy levels, leasing activity, rent collections). Weekend coverage is scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
• Support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
• Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and property performance.

Pay

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
