Maintenance Supervisor
About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, technical support, and guidance to Maintenance Technicians. Responsibilities include directing the activities of a maintenance team in a hotel environment, monitoring conditions of buildings, prioritizing and assigning tasks, performing troubleshooting and repairs, managing project work, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe working environment, and communicating with department managers and guests.
Responsibilities
- Directing the activities of a maintenance team in a hotel environment.
- Making sure buildings are in good condition and addressing any issues.
- Prioritizing and assigning tasks to technicians and contractors.
- Performing troubleshooting and repairs on various types of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Maintaining proficiency in the field through ongoing training.
- Communicating with department managers and guests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7+ Years in Facility Management in Hospitality or a relatable industry
- Advanced proficiency in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing trade work
- Supervisory experience
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Ability to conduct training sessions, communicate effectively, understand/interpret blueprints and diagrams
Qualifications
- DPOR Journeyman or Master Trade License – HVAC, electrical, or plumbing

Compensation
The compensation for this position ranges from $24.66 to $36.97 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the selected candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and the specific requirements of the role.
