Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervises a group of multi-trade maintenance employees
• Provides technical direction to Maintenance Team to ensure that equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly
• Analyzes equipment or machinery data (failures) and preventative maintenance program and takes corrective action
• Provides technical training to management and Multi-Trade team members
• Reviews electrical/maintenance schematics to As-Built Equipment, verifying safety systems
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules
• Improves Maintenance processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency
• Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinates deployment including training of Multi-Trade team members
• Improves the Maintenance Inventory System, including cost controls
• Leads or participates on committees/teams as directed by Maintenance Manager

Requirements

• 5 Years of experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred
• PLC Experience
• Multi-trade experience
• Demonstrated Training/Coaching
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lifting - Up to 50lbs.
• Standing - 6 or more hours per day.
• Walking - Off and on, 4-6 hours per day.
• Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both arms.
• Sitting - 2 or more hours per day.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility -- exposed to heat and cold
• Office Environment -- 1st Shift Position
• Controlled Noise exposure
• Activity level is high -- continuous movement
