Responsibilities
- Provide Maintenance employees with guidance, direction, and supervision in support of departmental operations.
- Promptly address performance issues.
- Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.
- Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance operations within assigned area of responsibility.
- Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.
- Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; two-year college degree preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience troubleshooting industrial automation (instruments, electrical drives, and PLCs preferred).
- Practical understanding of industrial/maintenance principles, standards, methods, and practices.
- Knowledge of disciplined problem-solving methods.
- Flexibility in terms of shift assignments and/or rotations, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work extensive hours in support of continuous operations.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work with associates at various levels of management.
