Maintenance Supervisor.

About the role

Improve and oversee 1st shift Maintenance operations, personnel, and safety of the department. Coordinate activities and oversee your team who are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce safety programs to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
• Supervise a maintenance team in their daily tasks, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and facility repairs.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to comply with environmental requirements.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel, encouraging a team environment.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a Preventative Maintenance and Parts Inventory program.
• Evaluate equipment and determine what repairs are needed to improve machine uptime.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in a foundry/green sand setting.
• 3+ years as a supervisor in a maintenance environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Ability to spend the majority of the day on the floor walking/standing.
• Ability to work weekends to support production, projects, or PMs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Inductotherm Induction furnaces, Isocure core process and equipment, DISA molding equipment, Surface Combustion annealing ovens, and sand delivery systems.
• Experience working with a multitude of contractors for various projects and tracking project timelines.
• Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

Pay

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year ($35.00 - $38.00 per hour)
