About the role
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and regulations. This position involves managing the maintenance team, responding to maintenance issues, and overseeing property emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage the maintenance team, including scheduling and supervising tasks.
- Respond to maintenance-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
- Oversee property emergencies and collaborate with property leadership.
- Maintain property grounds, buildings, and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Conduct pre-move-in and post-move-out inspections and ensure timely unit turns.
- Mentor the maintenance team and promote a positive environment.
- Communicate with property leadership and address maintenance issues.
- Monitor supplier compliance and contribute to the property's budget.
- Complete special projects and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in property management or a related field.
- General maintenance and carpentry skills.
- A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and cope with challenging situations.
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform policy.
- Completion of Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.

Pay
$28 to $32 per hour.
Schedule
Monday-Friday | 7:30am-3:00pm.
