About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for daily monitoring of work order software system and following procedures for entering, assigning, and documenting all notes, services, supplies, and labor, ensuring timely completion. This role involves providing daily supervision and delegation of assignments to maintenance technicians, participating in hiring, discipline, and termination of maintenance staff, and performing or delegating regular preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters, inspecting for plumbing leaks, replacing caulking in bathrooms, replacing ceiling tile grout, and painting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work order software system and follow procedures for entering, assigning, and documenting all notes, services, supplies, and labor.
• Supervise and delegate assignments to maintenance technicians daily.
• Participate in hiring, discipline, and termination of maintenance staff.
• Perform and/or delegate regular preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing air filters, inspecting plumbing, caulking, painting).
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety procedures.
• Drive as an essential function of the position; maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing oversight of general maintenance and landscaping.
• General knowledge of construction, property maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience leading a cohesive team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat/kneel, use hands and fingers, stand, walk, reach, climb stairs and ladders, and operate tools and machinery.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and maneuver bulky objects.
• Successful completion of crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings.

Pay

$4,833–$6,000 per month (DOE/credentials), equivalent to $58,000–$72,000 yearly salary.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full Time, Day).
