Maintenance Supervisor 3rd Shift
About the role
Pilgrim’s is looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, reliable utility systems, and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems.
- Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
- Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development.
- Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing.
- Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems.
Skills
- Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, proficiency in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems.
- Ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.

- Base salary range of $69,135 to $83,999.
- Discretionary Bonus: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s tri-annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.

Schedule
Monday – Friday with occasional weekends.
