About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 6-8 UAW Maintenance Technicians in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising daily maintenance operations, minimizing equipment downtime, supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and ensuring plant performance and safety goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance personnel to support production and operational goals.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and machinery downtime issues to minimize production interruptions.
  • Support and drive Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and conveyor system equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to complete projects on schedule.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance downtime activities, including work scope development and parts planning.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and plant safety standards, including:
    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
    • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety
    • Arc Flash Safety
    • Energized Work Permits
    • Safe Cell Entry Procedures
  • Promote a strong safety culture and provide coaching and development to maintenance team members.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and employee development skills.
  • Experience with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and time management.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Industrial mechanical systems
    • AC/DC electrical systems
    • Power transmission equipment
    • Conveyor systems
    • Pneumatic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Maintenance Management certifications or accreditations.
  • Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
  • Knowledge of Atlas Copco torque tools or similar industrial fastening systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Fanuc 5-Axis Transfer Robots and controllers (highly preferred).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Mechanical and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$85,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually, with overtime eligibility.
