Maintenance Supervisor - 1st shift

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises maintenance technicians to achieve established maintenance goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, labor efficiency, and workplace organization.
• Sustains the production equipment and provides assistance to maintain the facility systems.
• Manages the educational pay program for all maintenance technicians.
• Partners with manufacturing engineering team to lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Participates in product support teams to improve equipment uptime.
• Create or check purchase requisitions, ensures parts are ordered, checks the status of delivery, and verifies delivered items.
• Supports the MRO Stockroom with parts inventory management.
• Manages applicable budgets for equipment repairs, parts, and supplies.
• Troubleshoots problems that arise on the production floor throughout the day.
• Communicates the need for any follow-up work to all shifts as required.
• Prioritizes work orders and delegates responsibilities for work orders.
• Utilizes corporate CMMS program to measure team performance working towards “World Class Maintenance” status.
• Provides safety training for the maintenance team in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety program requirements.
• Provides communication for equipment repair status updates to manufacturing.
• Coordinates equipment manufacturer representatives to conduct repairs and major PMs.
• Has daily contact with all hourly employees within assigned area and plant management.
